Pastor Who Welcomes First Time Guests
Announce that we have a very important group of people that we would like to recognize at this time. If you are here today as a guest for the first time, please raise your hand, so one of our Ushers can give you our Benefits Package. In it you’ll find a number of helpful items and information. Please locate the Guest Card inside. When you find it please fill it out and exchange that card for a GIFT after service please.

Guest Service Center
·        Leave service and go to Guest Service Center at the time the music ministry returns to the stage for last song.
·        Welcome and Thank Guests
·        Receive their first time Guest Cards
·        Review and make sure all writing is readable
·        Give the Guest their gift in exchange for their Guest Card
·        Make sure you fill out the service date and name on the bottom of the Guest Card
·        After service make 5 copies of the Guest Card
·        Put the Guest Card Original in the current monthly folder
·        Put 1 copy in the mail boxes of: Designated people, and the Connection Group Leader the Guest falls under.
·        Call Guest from the church phone to thank them for attending the service today. (follow phone script for guidance)

Ushers
·        Pray over your section
·        Stay in your section
·        Be sharp and on point paying attention to those coming in to service
·        Usher the people as if it were Jesus Christ in the flesh
·        Know how many seats are open so you can escort those coming in your way
·        Excellence is not an act it is a habit, be excellent in your duties
·        Have at least 5 – 10 Welcome Packets in your section
·        Make sure all Packets are in good condition
·        Have offering envelopes in your section
·        Have pens available
·        Have tissues near you or know where they are
·        Clean your area before and after picking up garbage, wrappers, etc…
·        Return any personal items left behind to the church office
·        Know your responsibilities for the sections your in (Head Usher will go over these in Monthly Usher Meetings)

Greeters
·        Always welcome your guests with a smile
·        Be pleasant and ready to answer questions
·        Be ready to greet 30 minutes before service begins

Parking Attendant

·        Be in recognizable gear (vest, etc…)
·        Have cones set up to help direct flow
·        Wave cars your way
·        Park your guests with a smile
·        Maintain order in helping your guests easily and quickly find a parking spot

Serve each guest as if you were serving Jesus Himself.
