ChurchSync Removes Excuses & Replaces Them With Results
Stop Making Excuses For Why Your Church Is Not Growing As Much You Really Want It To!

What's Your Excuse Why Your Church Isn't Growing?

Now after some time of speaking with pastors regarding Church Growth I've come to the conclusion that the reason why so many churches are not growing may be the result of many different factors. I hear many stories, real trying situations, church splits, disgruntled sheep and a variety of unmanageable problems. However, at the end of the day, all these factors may be true, yet those facts are not eternal. All the facts and excuses are temporary stalls and obstacles that may truly be halting you from growing beyond where you're at, yet they are not forever.

In asking this question, "Why do you think your church is NOT growing in numerical size?" I'd like to share some responses and solutions to help you jump over these pitfalls and excuses so you can begin to move forward with fresh and healthy numerical growth.

Here are some answers to the question:
- "We have five other churches in town."
- "This State and area is very hard hearted."
- "Some churches are called to be big and some are called to be small and we are called by God to be a small church."
- "We just had a split."
- "We need a better music ministry."
- "We need a better youth ministry."
- "We need a better children's ministry."
- "We really don't want to grow much beyond where we are right now."
- "Narrow is the way brother. Wide is the path that leads to destruction and narrow is the way that leads to life and there are few that follow it."
- "We have financial strain."
- "We don't have enough resources."
- "We don't have enough people to help."

These are just a few to mention. Now all of these answers are true realities that they are going through. However, these are not the reasons why the church has STOPPED growing. These are simply excuses that are being made to look like that's why the church is NOT growing.

An excuse is an explanation offered in defense of some fault or offensive behavior. It is a reason for NOT fulfilling an obligation or promise. Here are some very simple steps to take in achieving growth from here on out!

1. Always Use What You Have
God will NEVER ask you to use what you don't have. In other words, everything you have is everything you need RIGHT NOW! So many times we think we have to accumulate more resources, people, and stuff in order to put things together so we can grow. NO! Use what you have and watch God Bless it, Increase it and Multiply it! I always think of the little boy with just a few fish and some small pieces of bread. The Lord used what he had and what started out as something very little was multiplied and growth came! Along with more then enough to provide a whole lot more after everything was said and done! Always use what you have and never minimize it as not enough. Our God is not, "Not Enough!" He is, More than Enough!" Praise God!
2. Faith Without Works is Dead
I can point to the ground in my back yard all day long, confessing that an apple tree is going to grow there one day very soon. I mean I can shout in total conviction that, "I believe I receive my Apple Tree Now, In the name of Jesus!" I can speak everyday over that area where I said the apple tree is going to grow and continue to confess that the apple tree is there, and call those things that be not as though they were for one year straight, yet if I never planted apple tree seeds, nurtured the soil where I planted the seeds, allowed the right exposure of sun to light it and provide the proper amount of water necessary to create around it the perfect atmosphere for apple tress to grow in, then my faith and all the so called faith filled words I spoke everyday for a year straight was dead and will have produced NO results! Why is that? Because if you put not corresponding actions to what you believe in your life, church, finances or any thing else for that matter then be prepared to be let down and not receive the promises and provisions you're aiming to reach. If you are believing for growth than start providing actions necessary for you to reach those goals and achieve growth. Act accordingly to what you believe and you will not be disappointed with the results.
3. Provide a Different Experience
In other words, what separates you from everyone else out there? What are you doing as a church that is different than what the church down the street is doing? Are you providing UNCOMMON Follow Up to the Guest that wows them so much that they want to come back because of how great they were treated? Always look for new and innovative ways to reach your guests after the visit. Make a long lasting positive impression on them!

These are just a few suggestions that will assist you in removing excuses so you can begin to see results!
